Mid Atlantic Super Series set to kick off the season at Mason Dixon

Mid Atlantic Super Series set to kick off the season at Mason Dixon

The Mid Atlantic Super Series is set to kick off their 2025 campaign at Mason Dixon Dragway on April 26th & 27th, 2025. The Series which has seen a large expansion over the past few seasons will offer up six classes that weekend along with a Super Pro & Pro race run by the track.

With the NHRA Division 1 schedule not kicking off till Memorial Day weekend, this is a perfect opportunity for racers to knock the winter rust off and get some hits at the tree. The event kicks off with a track operated Test & Tune starting at 6pm till 10pm with an optional Gamblers Race that night also. The first race of the eight-race series kicks off on the 26th at 10am with Junior Dragsters getting their first crack at the track, followed by the rest of the series classes. The series visited Mason Dixon for the first time in 2024 and was treated to a great weekend of racing, at years end it was Austin Ecks (Juniors), Don Bangs (Super Comp), Keith Mayers (Super Gas), Scott Lang (Super Street), Joe Heffernan (Top 32) & Todd Hoven (Stock / SS) were the overall champions.

Some of the changes for the 2025 season is seeing Top Dragster & Top Sportsman being split, last year the classes were combined with an eventual King of the Hill event winner at the end of the weekend but after a poll given to its members the choice was decided to split the classes and have an event & overall champion for each class. The series also added a Stock / SS Series to its list, but it will not be till the May race at Cecil County that this group will see action.

The one thing the series strives itself on is the two races for one tow philosophy and family style BBQ on Saturday Nights which allows the racers to break bread and chat about their day at the track, new for the 2025 season will be a practice tree following the BBQ to give racers a little extra fun in the pits.
The series recently rolled out a brand-new website at www.midatlanticsuperseries.net that allows racers to see real-time points and also the option to pre-register for events if they choose.
